The Karen C. Drayer Wildlife Health Center, in partnership with The Marine Mammal Center provides motivated low-income students with a passion for animals and interest in gaining hands-on experience with wildlife with unique fellowships to gain hands-on experience with wildlife. The Wildlife Health Youth Fellowship is:
- A paid opportunity, including financial assistance for transportation
- Hands-on experience with The Marine Mammal Center
- Pairs fellows with a UC Davis veterinary school mentor and provides an opportunity to visit UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine
Eligibility
BIPOC, first-generation college-bound, or low-income junior or senior high school student
