Wildlife Health Youth Fellowship

The Karen C. Drayer Wildlife Health Center, in partnership with The Marine Mammal Center and the Peninsula Humane Society, is seeking motivated low-income students with a passion for animals and interest in gaining hands-on experience with wildlife.

About the Fellowship

  • Paid opportunity
  • Gain hands-on experience with either The Marine Mammal Center or the Peninsula Humane Society
  • Receive financial assistance for transportation
  • Pairing with UC Davis fellowship mentor and opportunity to visit UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine
  • Eligibility: low-income junior or senior high school students (those receiving free or reduced lunch)
  • Requirement: creating a short presentation to share your experience in the fellowship
